L’éloge de l’amour

Intimacy, minimal collectivism, that private world that
can only accommodate two people has always been the main
content of my work. All the photos in this series are
from everyday real life. I want to record real dreams.
George Bataille once said that love places us in the universe.
And my pictures are fragments of this universe. There are not
only intimate pictures between me and my friends, but also pictures
I took of falling flowers, churches, and pictures I found on
the street. Intimacy is as fleeting as a falling flower, but
behind the fleeting moment there seems to be something eternal,
something we call faith. Love can be a belief that is both
fragile and powerful.
